The content you create and put out into the world is your ‘shop window’. What does it say about you? What does it communicate to the people on the receiving end? How can you improve that communication so that it does not inadvertently contribute to a sense of alienation, discrimination, or exclusion?
This hands on, interactive workshop is designed to help you apply practical guidelines to your own communications & marketing to ensure that it is inclusive and accessible to ALL of your audience.
In the course of 90 minutes we will present a set of questions, recommendations and tools that will allow you to improve your communications.
Actually’s Inclusion & Diversity Partner, Rosa Arias-Yague will answer your specific questions, concerns and challenges, help you to consider how your organisations’ values might need to be adjusted and reflected in your communications and then guide you through a practical session of preparing posts and content for your business using all of the knowledge you will acquire during the session.
You will be given a handbook with guidelines to apply to your communications in future.
Join us in this workshop. Get practical about tackling the unconscious bias in our communications so that we can be part of the solution, not the problem, in 2021.
Please note: you do NOT need to have attended the Unconscious Bias in Communications Masterclass in December to benefit from this workshop.
Date: Thursday 25 March
Time: 6.30-8pm
